BSNL Roaming Plans for Prepaid & Postpaid

BSNL - the leader in telecom services has introduced very liberal roaming plans for prepaid and postpaid for its customers in 2013. In its new plans, it has commenced “New Roaming Free Plan”, giving the customers the advantage of roaming almost freely inside the country.

  Let’s see some of the unique features of these new free roaming plans for pre-paid and post-paid customers in 2013: Features of BSNL Roaming Plans For Prepaid User

• If you have bought a voucher worth Rs 199, you will be allowed free incoming calls as a 2G or 3G customer of BSNL GSM prepaid services.
• In this new plan, you will have 180 days validity and enjoy the new plan as a prepaid customer of India.
• This plan is not applicable to MTNL network in Delhi and Mumbai.
• In this plan, you will have free usage of 4500 seconds, if you are using it for BSNL network and 4500 seconds if you are making calls to other network.
• This needs to be exhausted within 30 days from the date you activate it from your own circle or area.
• For outgoing calls, you need spend Rs 0.72 paisa for own network and Rs 0.90 paisa if you are making calls outside your network.

  Postpaid Plans

• For post paid services, you will have to purchase a plan voucher of Rs 225.
• In this, you will enjoy free local calls for 9000 seconds and STD calls 3000 seconds.
• You will be charged Rs 0.01 paisa per second, if you are making call from BSNL to BSNL.
• You will be charged Rs 0.012 paisa if you will make call to some other network.
• You will be charged .012 paisa if you are making call to landline.
• For roaming for post paid services, the activation charges will be Rs 100.
• For making local and STD calls while roaming, you will need to pay Rs 500 as security deposit.
• For making local +STD+ ISD calls, you will pay a security deposit of Rs 2000.
• For availing local, ISD, STD and international roaming, you need to pay a security deposit of Rs 5000.
• Pulse rate for local and STD calls will remain 1 second for postpaid services.
• Call charges has been reduced to 0.005 second. For international roaming fixed monthly charges will remain Rs 99.
• For 3G services, you will pay additional monthly charges of Rs 25.
