When you are interested in finding fancy and easy-to-remember numbers, BSNL can certainly help you out with that. BSNL has begun its exclusive feature that allows you to have your number of your choice. You can avail your favorite number from the set of numbers available with BSNL. Although, the service began before sometime in Andhra Pradesh, due to the overwhelming response, BSNL has extended the same to all parts of India like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Gujarat etc.
- It is really easy. First of all, you need to log in to here.
- The above link will take you to the concerned webpage of BSNL.
- The entire map of India will be displayed with abbreviations of states throughout the length and breadth of it.
- Suppose you need to try for a fancy number in Andhra Pradesh. Go to “AP” and click on it. The page will show in the middle of the page a “lock” that you need to drag to right side to unlock. Just put the mouse on it and drag it towards right. It will give you a depository of numbers. Go through the numbers and click in the box, situated at the left side. Then click on the “load” button at the bottom of it. The similar numbers will come into display.
- You need to select the number of your choice and then click on “reserve number” located at the top of the box. The number will be reserved for next 96 hours.
- You will be asked then to provide your mobile number and then receive the SMS containing the PIN of 7 digits.
- You can then approach the customer service center or distributor of BSNL and by giving the seven digit number SMS there along with the documents, you can get the SIM of the number.
- Log on to here for Chennai.
- Click on the Tamilnadu i.e. abbreviation “TN”.
- As you click on it, it will show you the link of Chennai and rest of Tamilnadu.
- Click on Chennai. Repeat the same process as given before in the previous paragraph. You can also click on Tamilnadu link to know about the numbers available.
- Click here for Kolkata.
- Go to the “WB” part and click on it. The link will show you the webpage for “Kolkata” and “West Bengal”.
- You can repeat the previous process to select your fancy number for “Kolkata” and “West Bengal”. You can choose from the lists of numbers available for “Kolkata” and “West Bengal”.
- Login to Pune here.
- Click on “MH”-the abbreviation for Maharashtra.
- Repeat the same process to get the fancy number for Pune.
- Login to here for Delhi.
- Click on “UP” on the map. The link will take you Uttar Pradesh (east and West).
- Click on the “West” part.
- Delhi is located on the western side of Uttar Pradesh.
- Then you can repeat the same process to get your favorite number.
